THE HUNT

You will sweat, suck air, and mouth dries, but Rif Chukar will show you the way. Not where the chukar-suckers are, but where they are and everywhere. Dozens and dozens of large coveys of chukars and pheasants, clouds of them, flying away fast, loud, and hard. We will turn your wild hunt into wild shooting festival. We had bird gamers who were so amazed they froze when the wild coveys started flushing from all around, hundreds of them, crossing, dropping-in, high overhead, flushing, and diving. You will aim at them in blue water background and chase them following miles-long trails along the beach mountains. Your dog may swim in the sea to retrieve and have countless encounters of spectacularly fast uphill running jackrabbits and downhill running grey rabbits. Make sure your dog doesn’t drop the prey while flushing others on the way back. Enjoy your dog pointing all day long and enhance your shooting skills high-end Benelli semi-automatic 20- and 12-gauge shotguns.  The memoir of covey raising, chukar chuk-chuking, and pheasant cackling at the sound of the sea waves will live in your memoir for a lifetime.

8:00 AM

On a blue beautiful Mediterranean morning, if you chose to stay at the luxurious resort, a range-rover will take you after your breakfast from the hotel to the Rif Chukar mountain fields through a breathtaking drive from Marina Smir toward Jebha.

If you chose to stay in the beachfront deluxe tent, the guides will serve a delicious fish or bird meat Mediterranean authentic breakfast, and if you elect, you can hunt your breakfast bird within a few minutes min.

9:30 AM

Your guide with trained pointers will take you from the arrival point at 9:30 AM or from your beachfront bell/family deluxe tent to your favorite hunting mountains. You and your family members may choose to hunt each alone or together. You will walk along trails through flowery macquis of evergreen shrubs, such as Arbutus Unedo, and small trees, grasslands,  wet Sclerophyll forests, juniper, holm oak, cedar, fir, cork oak tree, fig trees, pine, thorny small trees, prickly pear cactus (opuntia), and prairies of wheats, barley corn, peas, and vegetables. You will able to rest around 12:00 PM for Moroccan hot hors d’oeuvres.

2:00 PM

The first day hunting is over, and it is time for pictures, and return to your beachfront deluxe bell tent or luxury hotel.

5:00 PM: Dinner at the beachfront or luxury restaurant at Cabo Negro. The chef will take your own bird or fish and “cook your catch” following your favorite Moroccan cuisine assorted with hot and cold hors d’oeuvres and salads.
